Default Variable Playback Speed for Windows Media Player for Pocket PC

I recently discovered that Windows Media Player (the desktop edition) allows
the user to modify the playback speed of a MP3 file. I'm taking some classes
via distant learning and get some lectures that I have to listen to on a
regular basis.

One of the lectures has very drawn out manner of speaking so I use the
variable play back speed feature to "speed up" his lectures. I'd love to be
able to do this on a handheld unit. Does anyone know if the Pocket PC
version of Windows Media Player has this functionality? I don't currently
own a PocketPC but if WMP has this function I would certainly get one.

Thanks.

TCPMP (third party player) can do this, WMP can't.
