Default iPAQ h6340 - how to delete contacts off an old SIM card

Hi Folks,
Having Googled for a while (and tried to fight the HP "support" web
pages
but gave up on that because it is too damn intractable) I've decided to
throw myself upon the mercy of the good folks on Usenet.

Brand new HP iPAQ H6340. Old SIM card from a well-used Virgin Mobile
phone (whose charger is now defunct hence the desire to combine an iPAQ
and a phone in one easy-to-carry unit).

The software allows copying of SIM card contacts into my Outlook
contacts
section, but how to delete the SIM card contacts afterwards?

Suggestions welcomed; thanks in advance.

Mungo Henning

Just insert the SIM to any phone and delete them.
