Default no easy way to see the battery power status

Any primitive phone shows a little symbol on the screen indicating how much
battery power is left. Why does the pocket pc phone edition not provide such
a thing?

Since I don't have to charge my QTek 9090 on a daily basis, it would be nice
if there were an indication of the battery status. Then when I leave the
home and find out that it needs to be charged its too late!

The answer is that primitive phones are made for primitive users, and on
Pocket PCs there is no way you can put EVERYTHING in the today screen.

The best thing is to get a freeware like GS Battery Monitor at
http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1219 or even a better
commercial program like Spb Pocket Plus from http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com and
you will have what you want.
