Send a contact via sms

On my old phone I could send a business card or phone number easily from the
phone book. On the XDAIIi I can only beam a contact via infra red, not very
useful.
Is there an easy way to do this other than cutting pasting from contacts
into an sms?

There is no builtin support for send a contact via sms, have never seen a 3.
part application that could either... cut and paste is the way to do it...
