I am after opinions on what is the best pocket pc phone to buy in Australia
at the moment ?
I have looked at the I-mate PDA2K, the IPAQ 6315 and the XDAII.

The i-mate PDA2k (and PDA2k CDMA EVDO) is a good one, the XDAII is a good
reliable brand, and the i-mate JAM is a very small one if you don't like big
PDA. I wouldn't bother with the iPAQ h6315 though.

Stay away from the 6315; it's a complete piece of junk.

I agree with Mauricio. Also the XDA IIi (or iMate PDA2) are bettern options
than the XDAII, since they include wifi and a better camera, besides a
stronger processor.

Personally I like Imate JAM as it is smaller and has a better camera. Like it was said the bigger PDAs have inbuilt wifi more memory and slide-out keyboard in case you need thouse features.

I would give preference to Imate devices, as the impression I get is that they have better support through the Imate website (with software updates and such). My understanding is they cost less as well.

In the end it really depends what you want to use it for. If you want
the PPC formfactor (larger screen) and WiFi, I would personally go for
the o2 XDAIIi.

I have had a XDAIIs for half a year now and it has been a good unit. Did
a fair bit of comparison before I bought it. If you don't need the slide
out keyboard I would personally now go for the XDAIIi which was not yet
released when I bought mine. Faster processor....
