Default AmbiCom WiFi works on iPAQ 2215 w/2003

After screwing around with the $80 AmbiCom WL1100c-CF WiFi card I finally
got it to work.
On my home network with the Wireless Linksys model # BEFW11s4 with Wep and a
manual key (128 bit) the wireless is working.
The drivers I used were located here
http://www.ambicom.com/support/driverdownload/ddwl1100x-CF.htm
Look for
Windows CE .NET/4.0 (Beta)

Follow the Readme and setup your card settings and have fun. I am going to
bed.

Fine for you, I'm still trying to got it work, even without WEP. Whatever I

Make for sure you have the latest firmware on router, I spent 2 hours
without being able to connect. Updated DLink 614+ firmware and was able to
connect after rebooting device (without wep, still haven't got that working)

believe it or not, i'm using the latest firmware and sometime it works,
sometime not. I'm not changing any parameters, I'm still working with the
same hardware. I'm at the end of my knowledge. I spoke with my provider
without any solution. So, if work with some magic tcp/ip adresses or
whatever, gimme a hint.......

Try turning OFF DHCP.

I have this card and a D-Link 614+, running without WEP.

Results using DHCP are hit and miss at best, but giving a static IP address
seems to make it work all the time.

Just my experience.
