Hi all,

I've got a bit of an annoying problem, I have an iPaq 5555 which I can
connect to my wireless network, but I have to mess about each time I
turn it on so that i can connect, for example... to get it to work..

When my IPaq is turned on, it wont connect.....
I click the <- -> x bit on the top bar, then settings...
Advanced, Network Card.....

<- Here I can see my network and it even says connected though i cant
use it ->

Click my Wireless network, Go to Authentication...
Untick the Data Encyrption (WEP Enabled) box (no other boxes checked
though network key has been entered)


Now, if I turn wireless off then back on again, the top bar icon goes
to the <- -> icon without the x

But, i still cannot use the network, to get it working I have to go
through the above and re-tick the Data Encyrption (WEP Enabled)
box...

Now everything works fine!

I have to do this each time I turn the iPaq on and want to use the
network which is very annoying, no doubt I have messed something up
somewhere, does anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Obviously the WEP key is OK because once I have gone through the above
routine it all works fine without having re-enter the key....
