wifi sinch
From the today screen tap | Start Menu | Settings | Connections |
Connections (icon) | Advanced (tab) | Select Networks | Set the bottom
setting to "My Work Network" tap | Edit | Proxy Settings | Check only the
fist item, "This network connects to the Internet" leave everything else
blank. Tap | OK | Set the first item to "My Work Connection" | tap | OK | OK
| X | Important you MUST back all the way out to the today screen for these
settings to take. This completes the settings for the qtek.
I would suggest that you get vxUtil from http://www.cam.com and see if you can ping
your PC by name, you MUST be able to do this to be able to sync. Generally
this is best done by enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the advanced settings
of Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) your network card. After making this change
you should reboot and wait about 5 minutes for the new info to work through
your system.
Without knowing more about your PC it's hard to say exactly what changes
will need to be made their. If you are running a firewall you will need to
allow Activesync through the firewall.
