Default media center and streaming live tv

I have not been able to get anyone to answer the follwoing:
If I have a media center PC and Xbox 360 used as an extender. Can I watch
live tv on both devices at thesame time?
If I add a MC Extender will I be able to watch live tv on all three devices
at same time?

Is the above dependent on the number of TV tuners in my WMC PC?

Thank you in advance for you help

If you have one tuner, all 3 can watch the same live show (or any
previously recorded shows)

If you have two tuners, you can watch 2 live shows at the same time
split any way you want among the 3 tuners, but 2 or 3 tuners can
watch the same live show, plus any previously recorded shows.

Basically the number of different live shows you can watch depends
on the number of tuners but the tuners can all watch the same live
show.

That is also dependent on whether you are bringing standard cable straight
into the MCE box, or using a set-top box. in the latter case the tuner is in
the set-top box. I don't know if MCE has the capacity to control multiple
set-top boxes. Note that in the former case, MCE only understands one
source. That is you can split your cable signal into the tuner inputs. You
cannot send the cable into one input, and a satellite input into another.

actually without a set top box, you can use a splitter into each of
two tuners. same rules apply.
