Thisis usually caused by the scanning machine not having the IIS core files
installed. See the MBSA help file concerning the requirements for scanning
of IIS machines. Also - be sure to check out the MBSA FAQ available at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/tools/mbsaqa.mspx under the
heading "Why do I receive Connection to IIS Base Admin COM object could not
be established when I try to scan IIS?"
