Default IDSL Router and SBS4.5

I have an ISDN line running currently thru a dialup ISDN modem. All is
working well.

Now my ISP is calling and trying to "upgrade" me to DSL. We finally qualify
for IDSL at our site. Advantages given by ISP are:
It's cheaper ($20 per month)
It's quicker (144k vs 128k)
It's always on

My question to the group. If I go to an always on DSL with a router, my ISP
is telling me that I can just hook it into my hub or switch and all will be
fine. The hardware firewall in the router will protect me. I know the
group here recommends a 2nd NIC and going thru the server. What are the
advantages/disadvantages of the two methods. Also, what other things do I
need to be wary of and what other questions do I need to ask.

Thanks in advance
Guy

2 nics is indeed much better.
Run the ICW-wizard and make sure that the external IP is not in your LAT.
Check the bindingorder of the nics (internal on top) and make sure that only
TCP/IP is bound to the external nic.
