How's this for power?

The main problem of getting a Tanager in a place where you shouldn't be
getting Tanagers... no spare parts =P

Since I couldn't buy myself another battery I had to come up with other
means of providing extra power.

No.. I feel the best suggestion was still the reply to my question on how
exactly to modify MIDI files for use on the Smartphone =P

This one has to come in 2nd. =D

Maybe I should have named it properly like USB Power Pack, so people don't
think this is an ad post.

Really good post and glad to hear it worked. One thing though, you can get
a battery extender, such as the one you mentioned initially (4 batteries in
a holder connected to a sync lead) for c. £8 on Ebay which is an option for
those who are not quite so "hand-on"...

Well... Malaysian accounts aren't quite that useful in EBay =P And like I
mentioned in my article ready made ones are like... RM60 for it.. or
rather.. hmmm.. given the exchange rate it would be around 9 to 10 pounds...
and that's alot here.

Let me give you the Mc Donald's rate.. RM60 can buy about 9 Value Meals.

Why buy Maccas when you can get the best Beef Rendang and rice with enough
money left over to buy the latest offerings from a dodgy CD guy for the same
price as a big Mac.

You just got to love KL.
