I hope someone can please help...don't know where else to go...Java told me I
had update so I go there and repeatly try to update...Everything goes fine
till it starts copying files in the progress window and it just stops and
does nothing...I have waited and waited and still the progress window won't
progress any further. Please help me!!!!!!!!!!! At my wits end!

Reboot your computer, go to :

1. Start
2. Settings
3. Control Panel
4. Double-Click on the JAVA icon to open the JAVA control panel.
5. Click the "Update" tab
6. Unselect "Check For Updates Manually"
7. Select "Never Check"

This will prevent your system from even asking you to update, and there
really is not a reason to do so unless instructed by your IT guy if you are
at work.

Since your issue could be a multitude of things, it's probably best to just
disable these updates for now.
