Default Can we use WSUS for Server not joined to AD?

We have a number of servers that are stand-alone, and I want to know if we
can use WSUS to update these servers, even though they are not members of any
AD domain.

Although the policy entries are normally pushed out using group policy, I
don't see why you could not do it. You would simply need to manually
configure the local policy entries to point to the WSUS server. That can be
done using the gpedit.msc console, under computer configuration,
administrative templates, windows components, windows updates.
