Default Need to remove SUS1.0 to install SCE 2007

I am trying to install System Center Essentials 2007 on a server and it is
telling me I need to first remove SUS1.0 from my server to begin the install.
I have tried removing it from ADD/Remove Programs, but it won't do it. I
have even tried from the Run prompt doing a MsiExec.exe
/I{AFF0D9D3-6F0D-437E-9327-98108B4A8644 and that does not work either I keep
getting a error message about the Installation package might be corrupt. Can
someone give me an idea of how to remove this so I can continue the install
of SCE 2007?

Thanks
