Default WSUS 3.0 -Ability to Delete installed Updates?

I automatically approved for install updates by accident (they have been
installed everywhere already).

It downloaded the files (110MB each)

I set to "not approve"

It did not delete the downloads????

I figured that with WSUS 3.0 they would FINALLY have the ability to delete
the updates.

Does anyone know how to do this? I could manually delete the files but then
if I ever need to approve again the server thinks the file is there.

Why haven't they fixed this yet? It has been driving me crazy since SUS 1.0

Have you check the option "Approve for Removal"?

Anyhow not all updates can be removed from WSUS, some of them should be
uninstalled from "Add or Remove Programs" (check the option of Show
Updates). When you remove it from there, if the update is alredy unapproved,
would never appear again.

Hope it helps
