I have set up several ADPs in Access 2000 to serve as
front ends for administering SQL Server 7 databases. Have
been mostly sucessful except for one thing. Most of them
are showing up as read-only. I have administrative access
to the SQL server backend and "full control" permissions
on the ADP's themselves - and it still won't let me edit
the data in any way (although it is letting me add tables
and fields). Not all of the ADPs are read only and I've
tried to establish a pattern for the ones that are, but to
no avail. This is my first time using ADPs. I've been
using ODBC linked tables for years but ADPs are supposed
to allow editing of database structures as well as
changing data. As it stands now, I can do one but not the
other. Any thoughts? Suggestions?
