I am attending a network with a PDC with Windows 2000 Server and BDC
with the same OS. IPS are 192.168.0.1 and 2.
Computers at workstations are running Windows 2000 Pro.
Our ISP tells us that the DNS addresses are 126.96.36.199 and
188.8.131.52 – but since we need computers to move around the network
resources, then we have set up on each workstation as primary DNS
servers the internal ones, 192.168.0.1 and 2, and in the DNS tab, the
two others in 3rd. and 4th. position.
I am having constant name resolution problems on the workstations, not
on the inside network but when browsing or sending / receiving email.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
