In Admin Console, when trying to connect to the SMS Services Manager,
it opens the window with a message: “Error communicating with the
specified SMS Site server”.
SMS 2003 SP1 (One CD) was installed on a fresh W2K3 SP1 (One CD)
* The SQL server is on another (new) W2K3 SP1 (SQL2K S4) server
* As far as I can see SQL is not the issue
* I have not run the SCW on any of the servers
* Using Windows auth on SQL, and the domain\smsserver$ is in the domain
This is driving me bananas! The CompMgrProv.log shows the following:
CheckSecurityRights_PrimarySite: CSqlCache::GetConnection failed
*Any* help would be hugely appreciated.

The user I am logged on as a domain admin. I double checked this and
