I tried to install Vista from the DVD i burned, I can’t even start the
installation process and i get this error:
BL initialized library failed 0xc0000017 on a black screen

From where did you get the program that you burned to a DVD?
How did you burn the DVD?(From an ISO or a copy)

You DID use a conversion program to do the copy and
not just copy the .iso file to the DVD, right? 8^)

Try burning the DVD at a low speed, 2x preferrably. Also try using DVD+R
media if you have access to such a drive and media for burning.

That seems to help me a lot Andre, if you burn slower, then it obviously
takes longer but there’s much less chance of it s******* up :o)
