Default Outlook Express Problem

Recently, when opening my e-mail, the mail begins to load
and after loading sometimes only 4 or 5 e-mails, the
connection with the server ceases to work. The connection
is still there, but no information is being received or
sent. After a few minutes a screen pops up letting me
know that the connection with my server has been severed,
although I can click on the internet and it starts working
again. If I try again, it will load the same e-mails all
over again, but not load them all before stopping the
connection. Sometimes it will download 10 or more without
a problem and the length of time varies in doing so. I
have had several others tell me they are having the same
problem. I have Windows 2000 ME and my friend Windows 98.
What is causing this e-mail problem.

Default Outlook Express Problem

When I open an email in Outlook Express and click on a
link within it, my browser opens, but shows nothing, and
there is no address in the address box. A solution please.

Thanks Hans, I resolved the situation by re-installing
internet explorer.
