My PC freezes during boot up after installing SP2. Everything worked fine
until then, but now a normal boot or safe mode freezes. I can log onto the
Windows installation using the recovery console and have tried a repair using
CHKDSK /R , FIXMBR and "Repair an existing copy of Windows", but no luck.

My system has 4 SATA disks configured as a striped and mirrored RAID 0+1
set. The RAID controller, Silicon Image SiI 3114, is on the motherboard
which, is an ABIT IC7-MAX3, Socket 478, 3GHz P4 HT.

Can anyone help with this problem?
