Default Setting up virtual Network

Setting up virtual Network

I have a virtual server with six virtual sessions running on it. Each
server has a static IP. I have to maintain the static and this exact IP
scheme so my test environment mimics production.

What is the proper way to setup the virtual network environment so all my
servers can communicate?

Pub – 10.48.116.32
Sub1 – 10.48.116.33
Sub2 – 10.8.116.39
Sub3 – 10.8.116.32
Sub4 – 10.60.116.32
MOH – 10.48.116.38

All subnet mask are 255.255.255.0
Gateways are 10.xx.116.1 where xx is their respective network.

If you are using a 24-bit subnet, only the 10.48.116.x servers will be able
to see each other. To see the machines which are in a different IP subnet
you need an IP router. Since you are using virtual networks you will need to
configure a virtual machine as an IP router. This vm will need to have an IP
address in each subnet and will need to be the default gateway for each
subnet so that it can route traffic between subnets.

The only way for them to see each other without a router using those IP
addresses would be to use a shorter subnet mask, like 255.0.0.0 .
