Failed hard drive in domain controller

The hard drive containing the OS crashed on a Windows 2000 domain controller.
This is the only server. Once I install a new hard drive what steps should be
taken to restore or do I have to redo AD etc?

Sorry, but if you have no backup and the disk is broken, no way without reinstall
and rebuilding the domain from the beginning. So you have to recreate the
user accounts, add the workstations to the domain again etc.
