Adobe Acrobat Reader

I am having trouble downloading adobe acrobat reader.
When I download, right before completion, an error message
reads "This version of Windows 2000 is not supported. You
should upgrade to Service PAck 2..." I did upgrade to
service pack 2 and its not working still. Please help
