Default Windows 2000 Backup Problem ..

In Windows 2000, I attempt to perform a network backup (scheduled) and
repeatedly get the error:

Skipped files in "NT\NTBackup\data\Test.bks" folder. Folder not found.

If I perform the exact backup process in Windows XP (another workstation)
it works just fine.

I am in the Administrators group on both machines .. any ideas ?!?

Regards -

Hi Denny,

This is in reference to the backup problem over a network share.

Ensure that you have proper permission on the Windows 2000 box.Are you
backing the entire system.Try backing some folders and see the results.

Check for event viewer errors.

Thanx - no event viewer errors and all permissions are set appropriately ..
I am the administrator on this server.

I can backup folders local to the server Ok .. I'm trying to backup (pull
process) folders on an external server onto my local server (i.e.
\\Server\Folder\File(s))

I have full share access to the remote server - again, I can do this on my
local Windows XP box (workstation) but I cannot on my local W2k server.

Thanx for your help !
