Default How to delete Add/Remove removed programs?

Often my Add/Remove Programs window shows programs that have already
been deleted. Is there any way of getting rid of these?

I believe Microsoft's TweakUI tool can remove these easily.

That feature does not exist in this version of TweakUI. It was/is a feature of
the previous versions for the Win9x systems.

I can find everything up to Current Version, then I can't find
Uninstall. I'm using Win 2000 Pro with latest updates.

Well, I'm using this version TweakUI (1.33) on a Win98 machine and the
feature is there. It's possible the feature isn't enabled when
installed on Win2K. Too bad.

It has to be there. Another option is to; Control Panel|Add/
Remove|"program" you'll be prompted something to the effect "can't be found"
and given the option to remove the entry.

Sounds like you're not nowhere near the registry. Either case try the other
option.

Bizarre - Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs doesn't give me any other
options. And as I said, I can get all the way to
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ but there is no Uinstall
there where it should be. Could it be hidden to protect me?
