I've got Intel Celeron 2.4Ghz
512MB RAM
Creative SBLive 5.1! latest driver from creative
Windows 2000 sp4 with the latest updates.

I've got a wierd problem.
Often when the system needs to sound a beep, my computer freezes for a 10
seconds. This happenes also
for example when browsing the internet. When you click a link a specific
"click" is sounded. Also with msn messenger when it notifies me that someone
has signed in.

The system can play mp3 or video without problems.

What might be the problem?
