The HP drivers are still Beta versions and may lack the more sofisticated
functions. My PSC is reporting Inklevels directly off of the Printers own
Panel Display - if your's doesn't, you are out of luck.
Whatever you are short of - now or in the future - be aware of the
likelihood that no-one will tell you. The way to manage this is to pay
frequent visits to the manufacturer's home site (whatever Camera it is that
you have): Complain there, if you think their support is lacking, and
regularly stop by at sites that are known to be informative on whatever
subject you are concerned about. For us, here in this group, one such
resource, for a long time, has been:

And, as you may have learned, one other such resource is this very group
itself!
The big companies just aren't able to cope with the situation you are in -
or an Hungarian speeking costumer in Togo, or whatever, since you are
confident with English, at least that should leave you some opportunities.
The problem of localized hardware, software and support Support, likely
remains.
(I think there should be a war on localized efforts of any kind in this
business.)
