An "Autorun.inf" can do that...
"START button, Find, F/F, Autorun.inf". If one shows up on a root directory, for instance C:\, then rename/delete it. It does not belong there. -- Thanks or Good Luck, There may be humor in this post, and, Naturally, you will not sue, should things get worse after this, PCR pcrrcp@netzero.net | Hello All, | I have a win 98SE pc fully patched, but for some reason after the windows | login screen comes up, calc.exe starts. I have looked in the startup group, | autoexec, and dosstart.bat files, and all registry keys dealing with loading | apps, even searched the registry for "calc.exe". | Anyone have any idea why this is happening, and how to fix it. | | Thanks for any help | MMJII | | |
