Default Microsoft Network Passwords

I have Windows 98. I am having trouble trying to figure
out how to deactivate the network password window that
pops up whenever I turn my computer on?

If this is a standalone PC, do a search for the PWL file on the hard drive
and delete it. Next time you reboot, it will prompt for a password. Leave
it blank and you shouldn't see the logon box the next time.
