If you can easily pull the hard drive, that will probably be the easy
way to get around this problem. Copy the files to the C: partition, replace the drive, set the first boot device to the floppy drive, boot with a Window start up disk, at the A: prompt, type: C: and hit enter. At the C: prompt, type: CD <name of the folder containing the W98 files> and hit enter. At that prompt, type: Setup.exe and hit enter. Sorry for the late response--been out of town. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP W98 System Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo |
