Default Owner of files and folders

We have a Users share with Administrators and HelpdeskUsers having Full
Control. When our helpdesk creates an account in AD, they simply add the
path \\fileserver\users\%username% in the profile tab home folder section to
connect a drive letter for the user and an automatic folder is created in the
Users share with the following permissions:

Administrators = Full Control
HelpdeskUsers = Full Control
"the user" from the %username% variable = Full Control

The problem is the owner = Administrators

We would like to move all the shares to a new partition and start using disk
quotas so I realize that we have some work to do for the existing user
shares, however, I would like to know how to fix things up so that when new
users are created in AD by our helpdesk, the user will be the owner by
default.

Any ideas?

CD> Any ideas?

I suggest reading the Microsoft TechNet and Microsoft KnowledgeBase
articles that I pointed you to in the previous thread that you started.

Thanks for your reply, but if you have nothing beneficial to offer, then
don't offer anything at all. Your links only refer to documentation which,
of course, I could spend tones of time reading ... what I usually am able to
acquire from these newsgroups is some good recommendations from users who
have had hands on previous experience or/and knowledge - you shouldn't reply
to newsgroups if you don't have anything to share except pointers to
microsoft resource kit for windows 2000 and changes to security information
for xp. I'm not looking for changes to xp workstation and if you read my
request for information in this thread you would have recognized that!
