Default Windows 2003 File Permissions

Hi,

I've got a Win2003 Server and having some problems with file permissions.

On Share Permissions, Everyone has Read rights and my Office group has Full
Control, Change, and Read.

On Security, Users has Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, and Read. The
Office group has Modify, Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read, and
Write permissions.

However, members of the Office group cannot delete or edit any files. No
one else has the file open.

I cannot figure out what the problem is.

Thanks,
Westley Annis

I'm only piping in because no one else has.

Try to verify that you are actually authenticating as an office group
account.

For example, create a file from the client computer, switch to the
server and see who the file owner is.
