Default Group Policy Stopped working?

Hi there,
Earlier today with help off here i set a policy:
On server A i set a loopback policy.
I then set many settings such as hide C drive, limit start menu etc etc as
it is a terminal server.
I tested it and everything was fine.
I then realised administrators were inluded.

So i set up a group with the people in i wanted it to work for. (only 3
people) and added that in Security Filtering.
It still worked. Worked for about 2 hours.

I then try about 2 hours later and it does not work at all. It is like as if
it is not applied. I've not changed anything at all.
What can i check?

Thanks.

Running GPResult at the command prompt says default domain policy only. It
does not mention the one i have created and was using earlier.

Hope someone can help!
Thanks.

Howdie!

You changed security filtering. The changes you do there do not take
place immediately. Group Policy refreshing occurs in the background
every 90-120 minutes. I guess it worked once - you changed the security
filtering, policy re-application took place - no working from then.

What does the security filtering look like?

cheers,

Florian

Default Group Policy Stopped working?

Hi,
Well i changed Security Filtering because i only wanted it to apply to 3
users and not to my admins.
I don't want to limit anyone else other than these 3 remote users.
I created a security group and added the three members to it.
I then set in the Security Filter - deleted authenticated users and selected
that security group only.

Is this correct?

Is there a better way to allow admins to not be locked down with loopback
processing?

Thanks.
