Default relentless uninstaller problem

Hi all I have one of those programs that's missing an uninstaller file and
cannot be removed by windows. But it's essential that I get rid of it because
I need it for my work and it has stopped working: In order to reinstall it, I
need to remove the old version!

So.... I removed the program with an independent uninstaller application and
have removed all traces of it I can find from the registery... but windows
still lists it in the add/remove programs list! I tried downloading several
of the independent uninstaller apps online but none of them list the program
as being on the machine because it has been removed from the usual spot in
the registery!

So basically I've messed things up big time! ... The program is still
installed as far as windows is concerned (so I cant install a new version)
yet it can't be found in the registery by regedit or any of the uninstaller
programs I got.

I'm baffled! Please help!
Thanks

Hi,

Look for the "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility".

Bye,
