Default Stranges in Repair mode: A network error occured while attempting to read from the file:

Let assume that I have MySetup11.MSI i can install them, and then i can
repair. It is ok

When I have installed MySetup11.MSI and then i renamed it to MySetup22.MSI
it can't be repaired.

I see A network error occured while attempting to read from the
file: MySetup11.MSI

What I can do to allow users to rename MSI files ?

Hi,

Windows Installer needs the access the MSI to get at files (which aren't cached), or
for some other reason, either you need to tell windows Installer where to find the
renamed MSI or users should rename BEFORE installing.

Bye,
Dennis

In my scenario user cant rename file, original msi already deleted. new msi
with new name is new version of the application and must be installed over
old version or repair if old version is the same.
