We have been using Microsoft producer to create our video
streaming presentations We put the class files on our web
server and an external vendor hosts the wmv (media files)
We use the hash key security system
when we use our external host's non secure domain there
is no problem.
When we transfer the presentation to the hosts secure
domain and change the code to look at an ASP file
instead of the usual ASX file the NT4 machines fail to
pull the stream from the external servers. but all other
operating systems (XP, 2000) receive the streams fine.
