lockout users

We are running WinNT4.0 sp6. Users are being locked out
of the server, unable t odisplay network drives, and cant
login. But able to ping the server and the firewall.
After re-botting the server, users are allowed back in.
Anybody have any ideas what to look for? any reasons ?
