I just got a old dell server with windows NT 4.0sp6 SERVER
as the OS. I want to use this computer on a Home network
just for file storage, and I want to set it up as an FTP
server on the web for my remote use. Someone told me
because it already has a domain set up on it, that i
cannot do this without reinstalling NT SERVER is this
true? Also can i use this server with the present OS on
the web as an FTP server. I have a Linksys cable modem
router that i use to network all my other computers. One
computer is WinNT 4.0sp6 workstation, the other is
Win2000sp4. Can someone enlighten me on how I should
attempt this.
