I am trying to view an NT machine from my Win 2000
server. Keeps telling me NT Server service is not
started, but it is started. Any ideas?

How exactly are you trying to view the NT machine?
You checked the system log of the event viewer on
the problem machine to verify the server service hasn't
failed? You may want to open the services applet in
the control panel and manually stop and start the server
service to verify it is running properly. Next open a dos
prompt and run net config server and verify the hidden
field says no.
