The operating system is probably installed on a 2 gB partition. You can
partition and format the rest of your drive from within Disk Administrator. There are third party apps such as Partition Magic that allow you to expand a partition's size. With Windows NT4 the end of the system partition needs to be within the first 7.8 gB of the drive. These may also help. Microsoft MVP [Windows NT/2000 Operating Systems] capacity of 14 gigs. My files and other material show a total of 2 gigs being used. The computer shows that I have only 300 megs left of capacity. Where is the rest of the capacity? How do I "open" it up? Thanks so much. |
