Default Microsoft protocols?

Hello,

I am a software devoloper and have been wondering what kind of protocols
do various Microsoft services use.

Here's some that I've found:
389/tcp ldap Microsoft LDAP server
1026/tcp msrpc Microsoft Windows RPC
1029/tcp ncacn_http Microsoft Windows RPC over HTTP 1.0
1067/tcp msrpc Microsoft Windows RPC
1068/tcp msrpc Microsoft Windows RPC
1076/tcp mstask Microsoft mstask (task server)
3268/tcp ldap Microsoft LDAP server
3372/tcp msdtc Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator

I find all of these very interesting and I'd bet I could use them in my
software but any documentation with examples is next to impossible to
come by. The protocols are nonexistant in the RFC libraries, etc.

Anyone got anything?

What books should I buy?

Thanks for any help in advance.
