Check if your primary disk is first in boot order (take out media from CD and floppy if you have set them to be used first) Check if your disk has correct MBR code. Boot from MS-DOS system floppy ver 5.0-6.22 (visit www.bootdisk.com if you have not any) and use "fdisk /mbr" command to replace code in MBR.
