Default Dial-up networking

I'm using dial-up networking on NT workstation 4.0 to
connect to the Internet. However, after the link is
established, I cannot ping any machine in my local network.

Any ideas?

Thnaks.

"royamergit" ...

Hello,
What is your intranet IP address ? what is the IP address of the machines of
your lan ?
Can we have a look to the route table (cmd : 'route print' in dos shell )
when the link is established, and before it is established ?

Edit the "TCP/IP Settings" and uncheck "Use default gateway on remote
network".

I've done that and it works, but then the opposite it's
true: I can ping and browse local machines in my local
network, but cannot send emails from ISP (the application
freezes).

In that case you'll have to manually tweek your routeing table after
you make a connection.
