Default Pointed s about clustering

I have an array on a cluster. I am receiving NTFS errors (Event ID 55) and
MRAID35x errors (event ID 9). To fix the NTFS errors, I need to run chkdsk.
Can I put the drive (is a raid array) into extended maintenance mode, run
chkdsk, then exit from extended maintenance mode? This is a mission critical
system, that runs 24/7.......there is no redundancy on this array (everything
else is redundant)

1. Is chkdsk going to bomb (likely or not)? The errors have been happening
for several months
2. Is the extended maintenance mode the best way to handle this?
3. Suggestions for solving and preventing......

I appreciate any help.

Thank you,

Mark Montgomery

Have you looked at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=218461 and
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/176970/EN-US/ yet?

And finally http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903650/.

I hope you have SP1 or R2 edition of 2003, that helps a lot.

Cheers,
