Default SP1 Installation Isolates Server from Network

aHave a w2k3 Standard Server acting as DC, Exchange 2003 server and OWA
server and DHCP server. Downloaded the SP1
(WindowsServer2003-KB889101-X86-ENU.exe) and have tried the installation of
SP1 and it seems to go OK. After it reboots, the server becomes completely
isolated from network (ping to any addrees beside the server itself fails.
Also no client can ping the server). Windows 2003 firewall is not running. If
SP1 is uninstalled, the full functionality is restored. I have also installed
the patch KB913446 after the SP1 installation and still the server is
isolated. Any suggestions on what to do to have SP1 installed and the server
fully functioning is appreciated.
