Cant connect a PC to SBS
In news:C1BAAD6A-7747-4796-BD8A-E7D8078B1BCD@microsoft.com,
Scarrd <Scarrd@discussions.microsoft.com> stated, which I commented on
below:
Does the PC have an IP address? Post an ipconfig /all please so we can take
a look at this machine's configuration. If there are any Event log errors
(red X's), please post the Event ID# and Source. This can tell us any
specific errors the operating system has found or is experiencing and will
be helpful, along with the ipconfig /all.
Also, for future SBS questions, there is a specific newsgroup for SBS called
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs.

Instead of the website you're using, I suggest to use OEx (Outlook Express
or any other newsreader), and configure a news account, pointing to
news.microsoft.com. This is a direct link to the Microsoft Public
Newsgroups. It is FREE and requires NO ISP's Usenet account. OEx allows you
to easily find, track threads, cross-post, sort by date, poster's name,
watched threads or subject.
It's easy:
