Are you using all XP machines using XP Wireless config? If not this is
likely your problem, I have found that the wireless client software that
comes with wireless cards does not run as service and therefore it is not
active until the client PC has finished booting, therefore the card will not
retrieve IP address until too late. If you are running XP try using XP
Wireless config instead of client software.
