Default Remote web workplace - page cannot be displayed

When I try and access my remote web workplace from inside the network or
outside, I get to the following page:
https://FQDN/Remote/logon.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fRemote%2fDefault.aspx, Then I
recive the following error:

The page cannot be displayed
A problem has occurred with the Remote Web Workplace. Close this browser
window, and then log on again. If this problem continues, contact the person
responsible for your network.

I am able to get to the server using the remote desktop connection
internally and externally. I am also able to use OWA internally and
externally. I belive I have opened all the necassary ports on my router.

I get the certificate screen, I have installed the certificate .. then
instead of a logon page I get the message above.

you can't RWW from inside the network
Not sure why you would want to

From outside the network you need port 4125 open initially

what if you do: http(no s)://servername.domainname.com(or net or whatever)/remote

I don't want to RWW from inside, I was just doing it as a test ...

When I do http://fqdn/Remote it takes me to:
https://fqdn/Remote/logon.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fremote%2fDefault.aspx

The router is configured with 4125 open and forwarding to the "external"
nic of the server.

You can access RWW from inside the network no problem, or at least, you
should be able to.
I don't think the RDP proxy will work though. (my quick test didn't).

The OP is probably hitting an issue with his router not being able to
process 'loopback' calls though, where a request from inside the network to
the FQDN results in a call from inside to the router's public IP where, if
the request comes from an external IP, it would be port forwarded to the
SBS.

Just to clarify ... I am having this problem in my network and outside my
network ... I really don't care about access inside my network. I was just
trying to troubleshoot.

hmmmm
When you named the server during setup...did you give it your fully qualified domain name or did you give it a .local name??
